This is the Exiga, Subaru’s rather straightlaced seven-seat people carrier, designed to bridge the gap between the current Legacy and Tribeca. Based on existing Legacy architecture, the Exiga has a long 2750mm wheelbase, and at 4750mm long, 1775mm wide and 1660mm high, it’s roughly the same size as Ford’s S-Max. There’s a choice of two engines – both 2.0-litre petrols and both flat fours.
The Mazda MX-5 Yusho Concept has been revealed at the the Leipzig Auto Show with 238bhp from a supercharged engine. It’s not just the German car makers that have turned up to the Leipzig Auto Show with some interesting new cars, the Japanese have managed it to in the shape of the Mazda MX-4 Yusho Concept. The MX-5 Yusho (Yusho means Victory in Japanese) is a supercharged and titivated version of the regular MX-5 with 17″ grey alloys, lowered suspension, a boot lid spoiler and carbon fibre rear diffuser.
Subaru has released the first image of its new VIZIV concept vehicle ahead of its debut at next month's Geneva motor show. The preview shows a hexagonal matte black grille design framed by C-shaped headlamps underlined by a character line that stretches along the side. A framing character line also pronounces the wheelarches, while the hood is highly sculpted.
